Matthew is a keynote speaker and training host on the topic of WeChat. Regularly quoted in international media (Forbes, Bloomberg, The Financial Times, TechInAsia, BBC Worldwide), his company organizes China’s largest WeChat marketing conference series for international companies. Matthew works primarily with international businesses to help form and implement their WeChat platform strategy. He holds 11+ years on the ground entrepreneurial experience in mainland China.
Laure de Carayon, China Connect Founder and Organizer
Started her career in advertising agencies (TBWA, Grey, McCann Erickson), worked in TV production in France and abroad, and joigned Carat media agency in 2002 to develop the TV ad funded programming unit, and specialize into brand content strategic and creative consulting, media partnerships and delegate production. She contributed to the books “When brands become media” (2009), “They taught the future: social web…” (2011), taught Brand Content (ISG MBA), and writes regularly for different publications
Summer 2010, she went to China to interview key marcom players and wrote a “Brand Content: Special China” series. No single rendez-vous existed in Europe to tackle China’s marketing and digital landscapes: she decided to bridge the two and launched China Connect, June 16-17, 2011. Rapidly followed by China Connect InTheCity, November 2011, a serie of premium Rendez-Vous with a Chinese Special Guest and Masterclasses, China Connect InTheNews, a monthly newsletter, China Connect Training, Ecommerce/Digital Marketing in China Training sessions. China Connect expanded in China, at RREM Shanghai, June 2015. March 1-2, 2017 was China Connect 7th edition
She regularly goes to China, develops a consulting and training activity on marketing and digital in China, and writes on Chinese consumers and China’s digital ecosystem.
