After starting his professional career as a management consultant with Price Waterhouse in the early 90’s, Alex went on to establish The Content Agency, one of the industry’s most successful and well-recognized Asian licensing companies with a focus on developing and managing intellectual property programs for the lifestyle industry, focusing on Fashion, Art, Music, and Entertainment.

Over the past two decades, Alex has been a driving force in the entertainment and tech industry, where he was responsible for a long list of brand, concept, and product launches. His strength has been developing and working in close strategic partnerships with most Fortune 500 companies in the U.S., Europe, and Asia. In his current role as the strategic global Advisor for WeChat, the world’s second largest social media platform, he is in charge of developing and managing corporate partnerships outside of China.

Alex is a native speaker and trilingual in English, German, and Japanese and proficient in French. He is currently studying Chinese and has an elementary understanding of Mandarin. He earned his joint bachelor degrees in Economics and International Area Studies (Asia) with highest honors from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), where he was elected and awarded his prestigious and highly competitive Phi Beta Kappa lifetime membership.
